RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking a Principal DevOps in Westlake, TX.
Duties Include:
* Principal DevOps will be integrating modern SaaS solutions and vendors with existing systems and services
* Migrating legacy products to reduce technical debt
* Sharing operational expertise in a team seeking DevOps excellence
* Forever learning and growing your skills to help build a well-rounded team
* As a Principal DevOps, you will be automating yourself out of today's job so that you can move on to the next big challenge
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor/Master's degree
* 10 years of experience in a DevOps role
* Strong systems administration expertise as well in cloud space
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, ECS, Batch, RDS, Route53, Secret Management and similar effectives, including CFT & Terraform
* Pipeline automation and orchestration applying the following stack or similar: GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Sonar, uDeploy, Kubernetes, Control-M, Helm Chart; For applications & Db instances deployment as well test automation frameworks cucumber/karate
* Monitoring automation systems such as CloudWatch and Datadog or Splunk; Datadog preferred; Observability standards, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management experience
* Understanding of networking infrastructure and protocols
* Ability to optimally collaborate in an agile team
* Willingness to share on-call support rotation with your product team
* AWS Certified preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
