RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking a Project Manager responsible for verifying the project scope and objectives with the requestor.
Summary:
Based on the scope of the project, the Project Manager will request a project team and create a project plan that includes tasks, durations, and resource assignments. They will maintain communication with the team and stakeholders to share project status, manage risks and issues, and escalate where appropriate. A successful candidate will work with the requesting department and team to ensure the project delivers the scope of work that was requested while staying within budget and timeline. They will work with the team to deliver the functionality necessary to complete the project. In addition, the Project Manager will coordinate with other project teams when necessary to create opportunities or avoid challenges created by dependencies.

REQUIREMENTS:
* CAPM/PMP/Scrum Master certification
* Experience in multiple methodologies for delivering a project
* Prior experience in project management or similar skills
* Solid internal and external communication skills (written and verbal)
* Attention to detail and organization
* Experience with project management and/or scrum tools
* Resourcing and timeline negotiation skills
* Conflict resolution
* Understanding of project change management
* Customer focused - builds bridge between project team and stakeholders
* General insurance knowledge preferred
* SDLC/Scrum/ITIL knowledge preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
