RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Huntsville, AL that is seeking a Software Developer.
Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Software Developer will perform full lifecycle application development, designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. They will also provide support in requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis. The Software Developer must be familiar with: Front end graphical user interface design, Software testing and quality assurance, Performance tuning and improvement. This role displays the ability and creativity to analyze problems and implement advanced software solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Full lifecycle application development experience
* Experience designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages (Visual Studio .Net using C#, with some client-side java script, and jQuery with jQuery-UI)
* Experience with software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
* Familiar with relational database concepts including table design, proper indexing, and use of stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server
* Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) experience
* Familiar with front end graphical user interface design using Web Forms technology
* Software testing and quality assurance experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
