A Kforce client is seeking to hire an Azure Cloud Architect in Miami, Florida (FL).Responsibilities include:

Create technical designs and deliver high impact projects, working hands on and collaborating with multiple teams in Engineering

Mentor your teammates in best practices for developing Azure cloud services

Azure Cloud Architect will uplift the organization by working across team boundaries to champion engineering initiatives, supporting engineering quality and consistency in the Azure Cloud

Collaborate with peer architects and technical engineering leaders, finding opportunities to refactor code, improve technical capabilities or perform technology rationalization

Ensure technology decisions and architecture standards are keeping up with the state of the art in the industry

Azure Cloud Architect will contribute to the development of our engineering competencies by monitoring industry and technology trends and directions

Evaluate and recommend technology and frameworks for flexibility, long-term viability, and time to market

Advise leadership on the engineering org's health and investments in engineering expertise in key technology areas, as well as areas where we may have gaps

Azure certifications preferred

10 years of experience in Architecture or as a Technical Lead or equivalent experience and 3 years of relevant Microsoft Azure architecture, design, and delivery experience

Deep knowledge of microservice design and highly scalable distributed systems

Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cloud services, cloud management, and cloud security

Proven knowledge of the agile development process and DevOps practices, including IaC for Azure

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical team members

Ability to drive solutions architecture design and ownership and articulate architecture solution options to Product and Engineering leadership

Ability to apply broad technical knowledge to meet business requirements and resolve technical constraints
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
