Kforce's client, a Long Island-based consumer good company, seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst. This position will be responsible for executing finance activities including overseeing financial reporting to various stakeholders, organizing and leading the financial planning /budgeting process, initiating rolling forecasts and providing financial analysis and support for various initiatives. Please note: this position is onsite in Long Island.Responsibilities:
- Work with management and ownership across the organization to develop the annual budget
- The Senior FP&A Analyst will create a monthly forecast based on current business conditions and input from across the business
- Analyzes financial results monthly and reports variance analysis and commentary to the executive team
- Generate monthly Sales, Gross Profit, OPEX and CAPEX reporting with narratives and communication to cost center owners and senior management
- Produce models to predict various financial outcomes and/or determine impact on the business
- Utilize BI tools to deliver insights into business performance
- Identifies and implements process improvements in the reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis process
- Support internal and external financial and management reporting
- The Senior FP&A Analyst will create analysis and presentations for executive leadership
- Compile key metrics to provide transparency and insight to drive effective and efficient allocation of company investments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
- 5 years of relevant FP&A experience
- Comfort working with large data sets-Prior experience with BI tools and planning platforms
- Experience working with accounting principles and accounting/financial systems and databases
- Strong quantitative skills and ability to problem solve via analytics
- Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel skills
- Sage 300 and AS400 (Application System) knowledge is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sense of urgency, flexibility , understanding of priorities, and ability to follow through to completion
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, execution-driven
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
