What You’ll Do:
We have an Account Representative role available in our Lenexa, KS office, supporting one of our top-tier service provider clients. This position serves as a primary point of contact to customers, providing exceptional customer service through effective listening and responding to customer’s needs in a way that builds value. We’re looking for people who want to grow with us, as we see the potential to grow this business and to progress in this role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide status of orders which includes expediting, delivery schedules and replacement needs.
- Work order holds and backorder reports.
- Entry and follow up of CRM activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Respond to emails, answer inbound calls, and on occasion proactively reach out to customers
- Document account summary notes regarding each customer
- Order entry - provide follow-up Order Acknowledgment for every order
- Provide daily or weekly Open Orders reports as indicated on the Account Summary notes
- Assist in training new team members
- Conduct New Account setup
- Provide price and availability of material
- Formal quote entry
- Provide freight quotes
- Run material Usage reports
- Conference calls with customer to conduct ledger review, project review, order status/complaints
- Entry and follow up of CRM activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree preferred.
- At least two years related office and/or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Office Suite Programs and general computer proficiency
- Word & Excel is specifically required. (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, Etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish a strong rapport with customers
