What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner Management Specialist position at KGPCo?
SUMMARY:
The Partner Management Specialist is responsible for subcontractor partner relationships, administration consisting of onboarding and price negotiations, overall performance management, and compliance of our subcontractor partners. This position will be responsible for maintaining a database of partner unit pricing for evaluating resources and cost of new opportunities. In addition, this role is responsible to support business improvement by meeting personal and departmental goals and objectives timely and effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Maintains database of active subcontractor partners including their capabilities, areas where they are authorized to work, unit rates, and resource counts
- Assists in compiling and preparing bid documents (RFP), including inquiry preparations, request for bids and recommendations for award of contract as it pertains to resource cost and availability.
- Develops Company Statement of Work documents for utilization and implementation of project personnel
- Communicates contractual requirements associated with Company SOW documents to Key Project personnel as part of project / program kickoff.
- Assist with Program start up and unit entry for partners within KGP’s Kapture system
- Works with field construction teams to augment resources with subcontractor partners, finding new partners for construction or engineering activities, and resolving disputes related to quality of work, pricing, or other disputes
- Receives requests; obtains estimates; updates records, initiates paperwork and follows up on request for approval of work not previously covered in the contract; processes and obtains approval of contract changes.
- Advocates for the subcontractor partner to ensure operations are smooth, any issues are quickly resolved, and implements actions to encourage partners to work with KGP
- Initiates and/or conducts meetings with Key Project Personnel concerning contractual problems as requested by Construction Project Manager.
- Establishes and updates records of all correspondence related to subcontractor activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 4-7 years OSP and or Relevant contract/vendor relationship work experience
- BS Degree in Business Administration desired
- Must be willing to learn new tasks, handle change, and work with a diverse group.
