What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Khanani Family Dental?
Khanani Family Dental is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, passionate dental assistant to join its growing practice!
We are a family practice who’s number 1 goal is to provide high quality care to our patients. We know people generally don’t like going to the dentist, but it’s our goal to ensure our patients have a comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable visit to our practice. We truly cherish the relationships we have with our patients and we expect our team members to treat each patient as if they’re part of their family.
Our 2nd goal is to provide an enjoyable work environment for our team members because no one wants to work at a job they don’t like. I don’t like using the word “staff” because it’s too corporate. Success is a culmination of a teams effort and each individual team member contributes to the overall success of the practice.
We are a family-oriented, general dental practice, but offer many specialty procedures in-house, such as endodontics, implant placement, invisalign and oral surgery. We have incorporated the latest and greatest technology, including, but not limited to, CEREC Primescan, Sprintray 3D-Printer, CBCT and utilize digital radiographs and provide clinical photography with intra-oral cameras and DSLR photographs.
Our practice was recently awarded the "Best Dental Practice" of Central Massachusetts by Worcester Magazine and the Telegram and Gazette!
Our ideal candidate is a full time assistant who has amazing communication skills, works great with others and strives to do their best to create an exceptional patient experience. We strongly believe in training our team members to help them succeed professionally and personally. The ideal candidate must also have a radiology certificate and a Massachusetts dental assisting license.
**Experience with CEREC digital imaging, staining and glazing crowns is a plus**
Duties and responsibilities include: chair-side assisting with all offered procedures, Being comfortable with administrative duties such as learning how to use Dentrix, answering phones and scheduling appointments is a must as we would like our team members to be cross-trained to help each other as needed.
Our practice currently sees patients from Mondays 9AM-5PM, Tuesdays 8AM-5PM, Wednesdays 8AM-6PM and Thursday 8AM-5PM. Team members must be in the office at least 30 minutes prior to patient arrival.
*NO FRIDAY OR WEEKEND HOURS*
