What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer (Remote) position at KI?
KI is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our OEI
Government Division. This position can be based out of the Baltimore or
Washington, DC metro areas and is a remote (work at home) position that will require up
to 25% travel to support OEI’s project workload in this territory. This individual will be responsible for the entire design
process from inception to completion. Responsibilities include taking
field measurements, space planning systems/modular office furniture, creating
and reviewing architectural/schematic drawings using CAD, producing bills of
materials and working directly with the customers and sales reps. The ideal candidate should possess a
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design with 2 years of design experience.
Experience working in contract furniture interior design/space planning is a
plus. An intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
