Position Summary
The Territory Sales Manager at Kibble Equipment is responsible for hitting sales in the set territory and establishing relationships with B2B / Large Ag customers. Territory Sales Managers serve as a trusted advisors to customers while helping their customers achieve their agronomic, operational, and financial goals. Responsibilities of the Territory Sales Manager include sales, customer support, technical support, planning, and optimization of the customer’s business operations in addition to serving as the ambassador for all Kibble Equipment departments.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage key customer account relationships to provide a differentiated customer experience.
- Proactively sell equipment and maintain customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Meet sales metrics for volume, margin, and customer engagement on assigned accounts.
- Guide customers in developing and achieving agronomic, operational, and financial goals.
- Maintain relevant customer account information such as equipment and operational information in the customer relationship management system (CRM)
- Engage with appropriate dealership personnel (IS Consultants, Parts, Service, etc.) to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Serve as dealership ambassador to the customer representing all departments.
- Maintain current product knowledge of all equipment, parts, and services available to customer and knowledge of financing and risk management options to assist customer.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of John Deere or competitive equipment as well as technology and agronomic trends/advancements.
- Knowledge of business, financial, and management practices in related industries.
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work seasonal hours.
