Description

Job Purpose:   Cleans bar and equipment, replenishes bar supplies, such as liquor, fruit, ice and dishes: Stocks refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer. Replaces empty beer kegs with full ones. Washes glasses, bar, and equipment and polishes bar fixtures. Mops floor. Removes empty bottles and trash. May mix and prepare flavors for mixed drinks.

Essential Functions:

1. Clean bar and equipment, and replenishes bar supplies, such as liquor, fruit, ice, and dishes.
2. Keep assigned area and equipment clean.
3. Prepare beer barrels by connecting hose couplings and connecting barrels to tap.
4. Stock refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer, replaces empty beer kegs, and slices and pits fruit used to garnish drinks.
5. Wash glasses, bar, and equipment, polishes bar fixtures, mops floors, and removes empty bottles and trash.
6. Prepare trash for disposal.
7. Maintain safe, secure, and healthy bar, and patrons by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
8. Professional appearance (well groomed).
9. Provide friendly and courteous guest service.
10. Perform other duties and projects as required by management

 Physical Requirements:

• Walking or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Occasional lifting (up to 150 lbs)
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and staff.
• Ability to organize and coordinate multi tasks.

Working Conditions

• Typical of that in a busy casino with heavy cigarette smoke accompanied with a variety of competing noises and communications.
• Flexible hours (week-ends, nights, holidays)

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration

• Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Physically fit to frequently lift 75 pounds.
• Must have very good communication and written skills.
• Ability to work any shifts, start time, weekends, and holidays.
• ABLE Liquor License. Receipt will serve as license for 30 days.
• Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibility.
• Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License.
