Web Specialist

It’s with that in mind that Kicksite is looking for a Website Specialist to join our Product Ownership unit on the Corporate Development team. This individual will be responsible for creating innovative, elegant and engaging digital experiences to positively impact our customers' businesses in the martial arts and fitness industries.

As our Website Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Performing a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new front-end development

• Working directly with clients on their sites, over the phone or in person to accurately represent their school in the digital realm

• Providing technical documentation necessary to support development and production environments

• Knowledge of software development principles and applying modern design patterns in a WordPress Environment

• Strong SEO knowledge and technical competency

• Trello and JIRA competency preferred

• Modern programming languages: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, PHP equivalent

• Experience with Web Services and APIs, REST, JSON, XML, or equivalent

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree (unless individual has extensive related experience)

• Computer Science Web Dev/Design degree or 2 plus years professional experience

• HTML: 1 year (Preferred)

• CSS: 1 year (Preferred)

• PHP: 1 year (Preferred)

• REACT: 1 year (Preferred)

• Javascript: 1 year (Preferred)

• SEO: 1 year (Preferred)

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
