What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher position at Kid’s Country?
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in the subject area(s) of expertise, such as Math and Physical Education
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of students
- Provide guidance and support to students in need, including tutoring or counseling
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Teaching certification or license preferred
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject area(s) being taught
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of different backgrounds and abilities
