Speech Language Pathologist Manager

Kids Choice Pediatric Rehab & Therapy Center is seeking to hire an energetic, passionate, and patient-focused speech language pathologist to join our team! We have a current opening for a speech language pathologist manager to provide early intervention services to children birth through five years within our Mahoning County Head Start sites. Kids Choice is looking for candidates that are highly motivated, ethical, compassionate, empathic, professional and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. This position is a renewing school year position with minimal possibility to work during the summer, depending on classroom enrollment, in the Early Head Start classrooms that typically run through July. We are specifically seeking a speech language pathologist that has current CCC's and can supervise CF's.

Job responsibilities:

• To provide evidence based, client-centered, early intervention speech therapy services to children from birth through five years
• To demonstrate knowledge of normal childhood development as it relates to language, articulation, oral motor, and social- pragmatic skills
• To demonstrate comprehension with evaluating and identifying deficits in age-appropriate skills and designing appropriate treatment plans and goals
• To demonstrate innovative treatment skills
• Report to Director of Rehab

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pediatric experience is preferred
• Experience with administration of the following standardized assessments PLS-5, CELF-5, Goldman Fristoe, and the OWLS is preferred
• Demonstrate adequate computer skills
• Must obtain criminal background check and child abuse clearance with no record
• Must be licensed in Ohio
