SUMMARY The SG&BI Analyst acts as a business partner to support long term profitable growth and values by empowering our stakeholders with actionable, data driven insights to optimize financial and operational performance across business functions and geographical regions. This role is responsible for maximizing profitability of the business and will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting data in order to evaluate business alternatives and recommend the optimal solutions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support team members in creating and managing a BI Roadmap for accessible and actionable reporting aligned with business goals; revenue tracking, margin/profitability, improve fill rates, costing, syndicated data analysis, pricing, cost reductions analysis, SKU rationalization analysis, promotion analysis, etc. to support strategic business management Integrate and analyze multiple sources of data from internal and external sources to generate insights and recommendations for business actions and improvements Perform pre/post product launch performance analysis to drive visibility in revenue & profit Maintains warehouse process optimization exercises to create rationalized SKU portfolios across categories Provide product lifecycle management support including monitoring sales performance, plan discontinues & transitions, etc. Assist in creating, developing and maintaining financial models to aid in identifying and sizing strategic opportunities to maximize market share Support in building and updating the business unit’s financial annual operating plan and long-range planning cycles Assist in analysis and tools to help map out future needs for number of launches, refreshes, etc. to hit growth plan. Tackle the Incrementality issue in a simple way to manage Analyzes category performance and profitability, monitors changes in the market and forecasts the future impact on business performance including risk/exposures to financials Help create and maintain sales & order performance dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 2 years of professional experience in financial/category/business analysis. Must have experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning. Experience working with management and presenting financial information Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles EDUCATION & SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or other related field or equivalent work experience is required. Highly adaptable and willing to “roll up sleeves” and do detailed excel work. Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear concise way to peers Proven leadership and project management skills – ability to lead and influence the outcomes of others both directly and indirectly Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands to achieve deliverables Ability to execute and excel in high-paced organization Ability to deal with changing environments, tight timelines and multiple priorities Ability to work and communicate across cross-functional teams. Outstanding oral and presentation-based communication skills CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS Must be proficient in MS Office product suite including advanced skills in MS Excel. Knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP systems is a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to sit; have flexible use of hands; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, and taste or smell. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
