Seeking Orthodontist in Killingly, CT - Great pay!
Newly renovated (2023) and growing state-of-the-art practice seeking a dedicated part-time (1-2 days per week) associate orthodontist in Killingly, CT to join our team. KDC Orthodontics is located within the practice of Killingly Dental Care LLC which allows you to work with their amazing general and pediatric dentists to provide complete health dentistry for our patients. We organically generate a steady flow of orthodontic referrals as well as maintain strong relationships with outside dentists as a secondary referral base. We are looking for a long-term orthodontist who is eager to lead the KDC Orthodontics team to expand, promote, and grow KDC Orthodontics in our community. You will be busy and productive right away! We use new cloud based Ortho2 Edge software and have a new 3D CBCT/CEPH to ensure we can provide patients complete comprehensive orthodontic treatment. Located in the Quiet Corner of CT but only 34 minutes from Worcester, MA and 42 minutes from Providence, RI. Compensation includes a competitive daily rate of $1500-$2500 (depending on experience) further details to be discussed in person. June 2024 start date!
Schedule: Part Time
- Ideally 1-2 days per week, very flexible with which days!

- Work alongside other General dentists, and specialists (pediatric dentistry).
Responsibilities:
- Greet and get to know each patient, learning about their medical and dental history
- Examine patients, order tests, read x-rays and test results
- Diagnose patients and offer treatment plans and advice, which can include surgical options, management, extraction, and more
- Educate patients in your care on proper oral health
- Communicate with all staff to ensure everyone is aware of the patient's needs and their care plan
- Prescribe follow-up care and prescriptions as needed
- Document all patient care, requirements, and observations to maintain excellent records
Qualifications:
- DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school is required
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Orthodontics
- Current state license (we will pay for your initial CT license)
- Previous experience in clinical or private practice
- Excellent bedside manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
