Role Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Tech position supports the Community Directors in executing the upkeep and general maintenance of facilities. Aids staff by repairing, installing, and moving furniture, appliances, and interior design pieces to ensure a pleasing atmosphere for the coworking community. The ideal candidate would be someone in school, retired, or just looking for a side hustle, as we cannot guarantee a set amount of hours weekly. Hours will depend on maintenance tickets submitted by the community team, however, we are flexible, as most maintenance tickets do not fall under the emergency category.
Major Responsibilities:
Facilities Maintenance
- Patching and painting drywall
- Paint touch-ups
- Fixing furniture
- Hanging whiteboards
- Hanging TVs
- Fixing or installing appliances
- Moving office panels
- Moving office desks
- Hanging art
- Fixing Door Locks
- Moving furniture
- Assist in event set up/teardown
- Scheduled Preventative Maintenance ie. HVAC Filters, water filters
- Maintain inventory of stored items
- Schedule and manage temp staff, contractors, and vendors
- Manage relationships and negotiate preferred pricing/bids
- Coordinate approved capital projects as directed by the Community Director/Build and Procurement Team
- Ensure compliance with all warranties and state/federal requirements
