Job Description/Essential Duties:

The Production Worker is a critical role within the company and has a direct impact on the quality and quantity of products that California Faucets provides to its customers. The primary purpose of this position is to fill customer orders by selecting, sorting, testing, and assembling components into completed plumbing faucets and fixtures. When performing these jobs, the following activities are required:

• Assembling plumbing systems and fixtures (spouts, valves, showerheads, etc.)
• Water pressure and flow testing on required assemblies.
• Inspection of finished components during assembly to conform to quality standards.
• Following instructions and locating parts on Pick Tickets.
• Notifying team leader of quality variances and parts shortages.
• Operating hand tools.
• Efficiently picking parts for final assembly and ensuring the correct number and type of part is obtained.
• Carrying or transporting orders to different staging areas utilizing material handling equipment, such as pushcarts.
• Reading and counting accurately, performing simple math, and writing legibly.
• Scan tickets into the ERP computer system and occasionally retrieve order information.
• Performing corrective maintenance on water systems such as valves and blow-offs.
• Performing additional assignments per supervisor’s discretion.
