Job Summary: Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the activities of the warehouse clerks and facilitate communication between all employees, departments and shifts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct daily startup meetings
- Assign team member tasks and delegates responsibilities
- Coaches team members to help them achieve daily goals
- Perform routine audits and monitors team performance
- Participate in continuous improvement projects as instructed
- Respond to special situations or requests as necessary
- Stocks and/or restocks parts in overflow and default locations
- Receives orders into inventory
- Processes MRO purchase orders
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
- Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 6 months to 1 year previous experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, scales, hoists, scissor lifts, hand trucks, and wrap machines
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Must have proficient computer and technological skills
- Must be proficient with verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
- Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment:
- Warehouse - PPE required in specific areas
- Potential proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical currents, oils and chemicals
- Potential exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
- Extreme temperatures for more than an hour possible
- Consistently elevated noise levels in work area
