Job Summary: Supervises defined functions of the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations of all activities. Includes hiring, developing, reviewing performance, administering corrective actions and terminating staff.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise and coach employees regarding work performance
- Plans, assigns, schedules and reviews work
- Organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of received items
- Develops leads to effectively oversee daily warehouse routines
- Performs employee evaluations and recognitions
- Conducts daily LDMS meetings
- Trains team members on all process changes, safety updates and quality alerts
- Oversees trainers to ensure quality training and standards are communicated
- Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 year' previous experience in a leadership position preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in related field preferred
- Prior forklift, pallet jack, hand truck experience preferred
- Must have proficient computer and technological skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR
- Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:
- High School Diploma preferred
Work Environment:
- Warehouse environment with elevated noise and moving equipment
- Continuous exposure to atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system
- PPE required in specific areas
Physical Requirements:
- Repetitive use of hands
- Periodic standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs.
