Position: Cannabis Production Associate

Purpose & Aim

A Production Associate is responsible for assisting the entire production process from beginning to end. The main purpose of this position is to make sure products are being made in a timely matter and with the highest quality possible. The products made in-house include but are not limited to: Flower jars (in 1g, 3.5g, and 7g increments), and Pre-Roll joints of various sizes. Products made elsewhere but packaged in-house include but are not limited to: cartridges, darts, tanks, and extractions of all types.

The following list is not mutually exclusive or collectively exhaustive, but is meant to give guidance regarding packaging and labeling duties:

1. Carts: Properly fill, clean, and package

2. Flower: Properly weigh, jar, and label appropriately

3. Edibles: Properly package and/or label appropriately

4. Prerolls: Properly prepare the flower, setup and fill rolling machine, finish and package

5. Concentrates: Properly weigh and label appropriately

6. Making sure all equipment and containers involved are sterilized and clean.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. To assist in the entire production process.

2. To perform Production techniques that help maintain quality and cleanliness.

3. To create a work flow where production tasks get done efficiently.

4. To always adhere to the rules put forth by the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy.

5. To make sure all aspects of Metrc Track and Trace rules are being followed.

6. To make sure the workspace is cleaned/tidied

7. Proficient in verbal and written English language.

8. Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with peers and management.

10. Ability to multi-task

11. Ability to work as part of a team.

12. Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders. This position includes frequently carrying boxes of various weights.
