About the Role
As an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist reporting to our Laboratory Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a full time position and is based out of our Aurora Clinic located at 2040 Ogden Ave, Aurora, IL 60504.
Mon-Fri (8am-4:30pm)
Responsibilities:
- Perform automated semen analysis and endocrinology testing
- Prepare semen for artificial insemination and IVF
- Semen cryopreservation and storage
- Maintain accurate laboratory records
- Perform quality control procedures and monitor KPIs
- Participate in the laboratory’s quality management program
Who You Are
- 5 years experience in a clinical laboratory setting (preference for andrology but will train the right person)
- Must have CLS
- Familiarity with the Beckman Access 2 analyzer (but will train)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills & a team player
- Willingness to be flexible
