Summary:
Maintains proficiency in the use of the hospital clinical information system and all applicable computer programs. Acts as liaison between clinical staff and company IS staff and department. Chairs the facility Super-User Group for clinical information system. Directs the education of staff in the use of the clinical information system. Performs audits for the purpose of assessing use and proficiency of the clinical information system. Performs other duties as assigned related to the clinical information system to promote compliance to JCAHO standards, federal, state and local regulations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education: BSN Degree required.
Experience: 3 years acute care experience in medical related field. 1 year experience in clinical information systems.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Current state license as health care professional.
