About the job:
Kindy's Christmas Factory Outlet is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. We are a unique 'pop up' Christmas store located in South Philadelphia, PA. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and can work independently but also be a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory, and ordering
- Open Store and prepare cashiers for beginning days work
- Manage the cashiers work daily
- Cashier training
- Supervise register transactions – voids, overrides and management approved discounts and return inventory
- Closing -Count money, prepare deposits and distribute change
- Help with inventory control and order management
- Help with customer service and positive interactions
- Maintain a clean and organized store
- Work with the owner to ensure that all store needs are met
- Other tasks as needed by the store
Experience:
- Must be responsible, on time and professional
- Minimum of 2 years in retail management in a similar role (required) or Front End
- Previous experience in customer service or sales (required)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently; flexibility to learn new things; strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks; ability to manage time effectively; positive attitude and team player mentality.

Pay: $480.00 - $600.00 per week
