We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate attitude towards patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
  • Monitor and assess patient health status and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Perform routine nursing procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and injections.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Current LPN license in Alabama
  • CPR certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
