We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate attitude towards patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor and assess patient health status and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Perform routine nursing procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and injections.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Current LPN license in Alabama
- CPR certification
- First Aid Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
