What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Operations position at KINETIK?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Utility role will assist with general maintenance and special projects for the operations department. Including but not limited to:
- Maintain the plant shop, warehouse, and office organization, inventory, and cleanliness
- Receive deliveries at the plant with use of forklift as needed
- Inspect and empty garbage cans around office and warehouse weekly and within plant monthly
- Provide general maintenance and make repairs as needed
- Comply with lock out tag out, hot work, confined space and other safe work practices / procedures
- Keep assigned vehicle maintained and in good working condition
- Change process filters as needed outside of normal PM schedule
- Supporting operations when necessary and train to move into operations when needed
- Assisting with other duties as needed
- Turn in weekly reports on work done to Supervisor
- All other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
- Good communicator, work planner with excellent worth ethics
- Report to work on time or as scheduled
Working Conditions:
- Will work outdoors in adverse or extreme weather conditions.
- Will be required to frequently drive to other field facilities within their assigned region.
- Available to attend in – person office and field meetings as needed.
- Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the company
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- Must be available for overtime and call-outs as needed based on business necessity
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
- Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.
