Senior Java Developer

Kinetix Trading Solutions is looking for talented a Java developer with 10  years of experience to join our Software Development team. Right candidate will demonstrate complete understanding of software development life cycle best -practices, methods, and conventions. This is including but not limited to, Test Driven Development, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven Design, and Dependency Management.


Responsibilities


  • Participate in full life-cycle software development
  • Design, implement, and deploy robust solutions to hard problems that also take into account scale, security, and reliability.
  • Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement proactively
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, including outside of engineering


Minimum Requirements


  • 10 year of industry experience
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design
  • Fluency with Core Java development (version 8 or 9) 
  • Experience developing decoupled SpringBoot microservices and RESTful API's
  • Understanding of cloud microservice architectures or ability to quickly grasps system design concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Java build tools, Spring, ORMs, CI/CD concepts and GIT
  • Openness to new technologies and creative solutions
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced high growth environment


This role is available in New York City or Princeton, NJ
