What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Receptionist position at King Drug & Home Care?
The Office Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, greeting people, creating initial delivery tickets, entering all demographic information into the Brightree (health record/billing system), and managing documents from faxes.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to type 35 wpm or more.
- Ability to navigate and utilize computer-based sales and referral database.
- Patient service experience
- Office experience, including front desk duties
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with medical terminology and records
All training done in house
Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
2 weeks Vacation and 2 personal days accrued per year
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
