In collaboration with the Volunteer Services and Gift Shop managers, the Coord-Gift Shop assists with inventory control operations at the King’s Daughters Auxiliary Gift Shop (Gift Shop), Pavilion Uniform Shop (Uniform Shop) and Auxiliary Mobile Gift Shop (Mobile Shop).

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Inventory Management: Oversee the entire inventory process, including receiving, tracking, counting, and replenishing merchandise. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, product details, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with management and sales teams to ensure the smooth flow of merchandise.
- Maximize inventory software system to update and maintain inventory databases, and spreadsheets to reflect real-time stock levels, changes, and sales data. Generate reports on inventory turnover, sales trends, and other key metrics.
- Organization and Display: Strategically organize merchandise on shelves in storage areas to optimize accessibility.
- Coordinate marketing and communication needs with KD’s marketing and team relations teams.
- Design sales fliers, and social media posts to promote gift shop sales.
- Recommend adjustments to inventory levels based on demand fluctuations.
- Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, stock-outs, and overages. Implement corrective actions and communicate solutions to management.
- Collaborate with sales associates to provide information on product availability, new arrivals, and promotions. Assist in fulfilling customer orders and inquiries related to inventory.
- Provide assistance and support on the sales floor and cover the point-of-sale checkout stations as needed.
- Responsible for adherence to gift shop policies and procedures.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirement:

High School Diploma or GED

Two years’ retail experience

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
