What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiscal Assistant position at Kingdom Consulting Resources?
This position will assist the owner with the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. Under the general supervision of the owner, this position is responsible for data entry, assisting with various job tasks related to payroll processing, accounts payable, financial reporting, employee benefits and complying with the records retention program. All job tasks must be completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Job Duties Payroll
· Act as a point of contact to process employee timecards.
· Ensure that the time recorded on timecards accurately reflects the hours worked.
· Generate and distribute business reports as appropriate or required.
· Attend meetings as appropriate or required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Assist with the creation and maintenance of forms, databases, reports, templates, etc.
· Distribute, collect, process, organize, and track documents as requested.
Accounts Payable
· Reconcile billing invoices and purchase request forms and prepare the same for payment by the owner.
· Process and prepare payments as required.
· Process and review reports prior to payment processing.
Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to read and write in the English language.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and over the telephone.
- Ability to operate various office equipment, including but not limited to a copy machine, fax machine, postage meter, etc.
- Ability to accurately input large amounts of data into a computer system.
- Ability to multi-task and exercise sound judgment to complete job tasks by assigned deadline.
- Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to achieve continued professional growth and development.
· Ability to utilize existing computer programs, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook and learn new software programs.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
