Role Overview:
We are going through and exciting period of change and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. You will work as part of our exciting greenfield tech hub covering all facets of technology within Kingfisher. You will be responsible for the delivery of testing for the product/project whilst working closely with Senior/Lead Quality Engineers supporting continuous improvement.

What's the job?
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the testing for the product/project/platform team.
- Contribute to the standards and procedures which determine product quality and release readiness.
- Work closely with Senior Quality Engineers, Principal Engineers/Senior Engineers to support continuous improvement.
- Build strong rapport with Business stakeholders to gain context perspective and ensure alignment on priority/criticality of test coverage.
- Utilise approaches such as 3 Amigos/Story Huddles to fully understand requirements.
- Define and maintain the automation tests for services, integrations, components/applications
- Pro-actively seek root causes and associated owners to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Identifying test data requirements, arrange the creation accordingly.
- Utilise the appropriate testing tools.
What you'll bring
Required Skills & Experience
- You have working knowledge of Jenkins, Git/GitLab, Jira and Confluence.
- Essential - you have hands-on experience of test automation (scripting and execution).
- Platform experience to direct automation across environment stack (existing and new).
- You have experience of testing APIs and industry standard tooling, such as SOAP UI, RestAssured, Postman.
- You have a good working knowledge of CI/CD practices, SQL and Docker.
- You ideally have experience with microservices and simulation/mock libraries.
- You have experience with Cloud environments..
- You have experience of Agile methodology including practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
- You may have Python experience.
