Kinglet is occasion dining in the heart of Washington’s wine country from Chef Maximillian Petty, critically acclaimed for ambitious modern American fare. Overlooking the Seven Hills Winery production facilities, Kinglet’s a la carte and tasting menus feature influences from French, Spanish, and Southern American cuisine.
About the Position
Server/bartenders are expected to host a beautiful dining experience for our guests. Bartenders will serve a six seat bar and provide cocktails, beer, and wine for the 80 seat dining room. Servers are expected to manage a small section of tables. You will work with a dedicated team of experts where you can learn something different every day as you work with seasonal menus, elevated cooking techniques, and unique presentations.
Job Duties
- Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Present Kinglet’s menu in accurate and descriptive language
- Communicate guest orders efficiently and effectively to kitchen
- Ensure proper delivery of food and beverage to guests
- Accommodate guest requests in friendly, courteous and hospitable manner in reflection of Kinglet and Eden Hill LLC
- Manage multiple tables simultaneously
- Participate in required staff meetings and trainings
- Maintain cleanliness of restaurant
- Follow procedures to set up and close down the dining room
- Participate with “side work,” including polishing silverware and glassware, folding napkins
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 years in fine dining service
- Food Handler’s and MAST certification
- Ability to carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for five or more hours
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Patience and guest-oriented approach
- Experience in cashier duties

Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training in wine education
- 5 years in fine dining service
- Familiarity with Toast POS and Tock reservation systems
Compensation
$15/hr commission (portion of service charge) tips
