Description:
How will I contribute
- Provide direct mental health services to primarily Transitional Aged Youth consumers under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and Regional Director.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and concise consumer records on the same day as service 80% of the time with a 70% productivity goal.
- Assist clinical department head as requested/required.
- Provide professional linkage/consultation with outside entities.
- Enter all service information in the Tulare County HHSA Management Information System (AVATAR) by completing Electronic Service Activity Logs (ESALs) at the end of every shift.
What I bring
Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited graduate school. Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Must be insurable with Kings View insurance. Achieve basic competence in Avatar, and maintain documentation that meets program and county guidelines and requirements. Basic knowledge of computer systems, including emails, calendars, and electronic health systems. Contribute ideas to make the program more effective. Able to understand complex systems of care, policies, and procedures, and build and maintain positive relationships with various members of the clinical team. Entry-level ability in direct client-centered services with an interest in practicing psychotherapy. Organized, team-oriented, reliable, self-sufficient, responsive, and positive approach. Works well with Transitional Age Youth and families, schools
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred. Maintain a valid California Driver’s license. Maintain standing with BBS as a registered AMFT or ASW.
