APARTMENT MAINTENANCE LEAD
We are a family-oriented company in search of a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician for our Kingston Greene Apartment community located in Hamilton, OH. Pay rate is $22.00 - $28/hour depending on experience/certifications.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical integrity of the community for the benefit of all residents, visitors and staff.
- Perform assigned property maintenance needs
- Work with other Maintenance staff
- Assist preparing apartments for new residents within 5 working days or less
- Complete daily work orders in a timely manner
- Basic Carpentry
- Painting and Drywall
- Plumbing
- Electrical Systems
- Small Appliance Repair
- HVAC
- Mechanical Systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and housekeeping inspections of apartments
- Rotation of on-call
Qualification and Skills
- Maintenance experience
- HVAC EPA Certification preferred
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of basic maintenance issues at the properly including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and carpentry
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual and dependable
- Apartment maintenance experience is required
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation – preferably a truck to transport necessary materials
- Able to work 8-hour/Monday-Friday (8am-4:30pm) shift and respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating schedule (2 weeks on/2 weeks off). On call paid at 1 ½ regular rate of pay
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
