APARTMENT MAINTENANCE LEAD

We are a family-oriented company in search of a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician for our Kingston Greene Apartment community located in Hamilton, OH. Pay rate is $22.00 - $28/hour depending on experience/certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical integrity of the community for the benefit of all residents, visitors and staff.

  • Perform assigned property maintenance needs
  • Work with other Maintenance staff
  • Assist preparing apartments for new residents within 5 working days or less
  • Complete daily work orders in a timely manner
  • Basic Carpentry
  • Painting and Drywall
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical Systems
  • Small Appliance Repair
  • HVAC
  • Mechanical Systems
  • Complete preventative maintenance and housekeeping inspections of apartments
  • Rotation of on-call

Qualification and Skills

  • Maintenance experience
  • HVAC EPA Certification preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of basic maintenance issues at the properly including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and carpentry
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Apartment maintenance experience is required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation – preferably a truck to transport necessary materials
  • Able to work 8-hour/Monday-Friday (8am-4:30pm) shift and respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating schedule (2 weeks on/2 weeks off). On call paid at 1 ½ regular rate of pay
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
