The Regional Sales Manager will be a core member of the KINGWIRE Sales Team at KINGWIRE and will report to the VP of Sales. This role is responsible for servicing existing key accounts along with onboarding new accounts to help grow our existing portfolio of business. The success of this position relies on establishing relationships with both agents and electrical distributors across the assigned territories in the continental United States. This position will be tasked with growing sales while maximizing profit margin by executing the company’s vision for success.
Responsibilities and Requirements
· Develop and maintain strong, personal relationships with agents and electrical distributors.
· Own the business relationship (pricing and terms) with all relationships assigned.
· Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
· Plan for the achievement of individual and divisional targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of the company
· Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.
· Positively contribute to team effort by accomplishing territory sales goals/budgets for the assigned areas.
· Recommend service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction.
· Assist with the overall KINGWIRE demand planning/forecasting process used to support the procurement team by providing complete and clear information concerning customers’ needs and wants.
Candidate Requirements
· 5 years of service and expertise within the wire and cable industry are preferred.
· Current relationships with electrical distributors are preferred.
· Domestic travel will be required.
· Travel time will be two to three weeks per month. This will include travel to the corporate office in Chicago, IL as needed.
· Knowledgeable and always stays current on economic conditions and demand from customers.
· Strong negotiation skills combined with high integrity and an ethical approach to sales and business relationships.
· Ability to negotiate and finalize sales when there are sometimes adverse situations.
· Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to concisely articulate business issues with the VP of Sales.
· Exhibits the willingness to learn and complete tasks as assigned.
· Exhibits the ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
· Exhibits high energy with motivation to achieve personal goals that are in line with the goals of the Company.
· Exhibits the ability to work with members of the organization in a positive manner.
· Current/Valid Driver's License Required
