RETAIL ASSOCIATE
We are searching for highly skilled and reliable employee who is looking to expand their ability and be responsible for sales job duties, and ultimately achieve excellent customer service and increase store sales.
Kinsco, located just outside of Longmont, Colo., carries a full-line of quality products that are tailored toward Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement and other First Responders, along with outdoor enthusiasts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Associate
· Expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services, and policies.
· Serves customers by helping select products to match needs.
· Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
· Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
· Responds to customers’ questions.
· Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
· Provides outstanding customer service.
· Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
· Process POS (point of sale) purchases.
· Manages financial transactions.
· Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
· Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
· Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
· Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
· Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
· Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Experience would be advantageous.
· Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
· The ability to read and understand instructional manuals. The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
· Excellent administrative abilities and attention to detail.
· Great customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to manage your time effectively.
· A professional appearance.
· Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
· The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Pay structure will be based on work experience.
