- Process the daily sales invoices and credits.
- Maintain the customer database in Primus.
- Record, track and deposit cash receipts.
- Record and track purchases and receipts from external vendors in Primus.
- Record and track purchases from Kinze and reconcile the discounts.
- Maintain Primus and coordinate training for updates.
- Perform inventory and financial analytics, as needed.
- Assist with report generation monthly reports.
- Assist with the preparation for audits.
- Assist Kinze Manufacturing Accounting team in performance of various other accounting processes.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 to 5 years of direct accounting experience
- Understanding and work experience with GAAP
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel, ERP Systems
- Detailed oriented and someone with good communication skills
The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting and coordinating the accounting function and business processes for Blue Equipment (BE), a DBA of Kinze. Functions to include answering and routing of incoming calls and foot traffic, maintenance of Primus, and the coordination of all BE accounting activities in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role will also be assigned work for the Kinze Manufacturing accounting function to insure that ample work is provided.
