What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at KINZE MANUFACTURING?
Kinze is currently seeking a 1st shift Painter to join our manufacturing team in Williamsburg, IA. This position maintains all aspects of painting on the powder coat painting line to continue and assist the production process.
POSITION DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Hang and remove parts, the operation of the Bead Blaster, buff platform, painters in both the liquid booth and the blue and black powder coat booths
- Responsible for painting, maintenance of line, and painting equipment and associated activities
- Maintain efficiency and productivity of the powder coating to meet their customers’ schedules and Kinze quality standards.
- Responsible for powder coat application, paint prep and rework, liquid paint, and occasionally sand blasting
- Assist with work in the shot blast booth
- Maintain proper 5S, housekeeping and safety standards
- Must wear and use all required personal protective equipment
- Responsible for safety and safety of others
- Assist other departments when necessary
- Comply with company core values, policies, and legal guidelines
