A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BRANCH SUPERVISOR/PROJECT MANAGER
This position supervises install crew members, for the branch, to ensure they are thoroughly prepared with work order, proper materials, necessary equipment, safety gear and tools.
Responsible for inventory control of materials located at the branch. Responsible for upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment assigned to the branch. Assess upcoming projects and have job specific pre-briefings to improve efficiency and mitigate potential safety hazards.
Cross-trained to check accuracy of all work orders and approve payroll information returned to office from the installers as needed. Ensures truck inspections are performed daily and filed. Report any deficiencies to the Operation Manager and works to expediently resolve.
Performs periodic safety and quality pre- and post-checks of jobsites. Work as part of the crew when needed and perform on site installer training. Monitor, motivate and encourage crew individuals to learn, improve and move forward within Kinzler Construction Services. Know, teach, and enforce product specific use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when hazardous chemicals are present. Assist in scheduling all division equipment maintenance, including regular maintenance and in field emergency maintenance of equipment. QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of Operations supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of general construction practices and industry safety practices.
- Ability to use problem-solving skills and good judgement.
- OSHA 10 certified. OSHA 30 certified within 12 months.
