KIOXIA America Inc, formerly Toshiba Memory America Inc, is looking for a Demand Planner Contractor for our Business Operations team. As a key member of the SSD Business Unit (BU) team, you will manage the demand planning function and works with the supply chain team to balance global supply, coordinates warehouse inventory targets, and mitigates supply excess/gaps for assigned products. The ideal candidate will interface with customers, internal Kioxia and worldwide teams as well as communicating operational issues, and forecasting and supply requirements.
This role will report to the Manager of SSD Planning and Business Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the demand planning process for assigned accounts / strategic customers
- Communicate on a global level with KIOXIA supply chain management (SCM), sales teams and customers.
- Direct overseas inventory and logistics teams to support US-based strategic accounts
- Consolidate demand forecasts and provide analysis as needed. Work with headquarter supply chain teams to secure supply and position it when/where the customer needs it
- Balance global supply and inventory levels for assigned customers in accordance with KIOXIA metrics and customer demand
- Execute to the division’s financial plan and metrics
- Manage weekly sales update reporting for assigned segments and customers; communicate variances and trends as required, and provide revenue projections
- Engage in presentations to and meetings with company executives
- Support sales and marketing teams with direct communications to customers in regards to assigned job functions, and host related meetings and drive discussions
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

BS/BA Marketing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience
- 3 years of directly applicable experience in demand planning/customer service/business management in a technology field
- Must have an in-depth understanding of global VMI and logistics process
- Strong working proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demantra or similar ERP familiarity is a plus
- Must be a self-starter with strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, while maintaining strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
