Job Description
Position Overview:

This role involves providing targeted professional development, coaching, and feedback to teachers, and fostering a culture of instructional excellence across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professional Development and Teacher Support
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide actionable, supportive feedback to teachers to foster instructional improvement.
- Facilitate professional learning communities, assisting teachers with collaborative lesson planning and the integration of best instructional practices.
- Design and deliver targeted professional development sessions based on observed needs and educational research to enhance teaching efficacy and student outcomes.
- Curriculum and Instruction Enhancement
- Support the implementation of curriculum standards and instructional strategies that align with district goals and state standards.
- Assist teachers in the effective use of data from formative and summative assessments to guide instructional decisions and student interventions.
- Provide guidance on integrating effective teaching methodologies and technologies into the classroom environment.
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Serve as a vital member of the school leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and the overall improvement of school-wide instructional practices.
- Promote a collaborative work environment among teachers and staff, encouraging open communication and shared best practices.
- Liaise with the Principal and other administrators to align instructional strategies with school goals.
- Data Analysis and Impact Assessment
- Monitor and analyze student performance data to identify areas of need and measure the impact of instructional interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers to refine instructional practices based on data insights and observed outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education required; Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field preferred.
- Valid teaching certification is preferred, with endorsements in instructional coaching or related areas considered a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience, with a strong record of student achievement.
- Experience in coaching teachers and delivering professional development within an educational setting preferred.
Skills and Competencies:

- Expert knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum standards, and assessment methodologies.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and support teachers.
