Job Description
The Director of Inside Sales will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Director of Inside Sales will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process. They will collaborate with various professionals, so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals.
Your Responsibilities
- Develops and manages the annual process of creating inside sales account-based sales strategies, sales assumptions, projections, and sales goals for all sales verticals.
- Provides leadership, support, and guidance to ensure the inside sales strategy is aligned with business direction and supports the accomplishment of the overall business objectives.
- Evaluates market conditions and adjust sales strategy to adapt to those changes successfully. Gathers and evaluates key sales trends and market indicators and implements strategies for alignment.
- Oversees the tracking and measurement of all inside sales initiatives. Reviews sales and delivery plans developed for the inside sales teams.
- Monitors activity reports and reporting trends and makes recommendations as needed on changes to reports, tactics, and modifications to current strategy.
- Maximizes sales effectiveness by providing leadership to the inside sales team to ensure productivity targets are met and or exceeded.
- Leads and manages the inside sales team. Provides mentoring, development, and training.
- Leads and manages the Sales Development Representative team members.
- Works collaboratively with internal departments to execute sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate up-to-date sales lead tracking and pipeline.
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up to date on industry news.
- Cross-selling to an existing base of clients with our CRM and RCM solutions.
- Utilize CRM Salesforce Automation tools for contact management, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting.
Your Qualifications
- 3 years of leadership experience managing, training, and scaling a high-performance sales team in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- 3 years of experience managing a team of inside sales representatives.
- Demonstrated success in forecasting, setting objectives & goals, and analyzing sales performance data to improve sales effectiveness.
- Strong Salesforce knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in building and motivating sales teams, analyzing sales trends, growing pipeline, and monitoring performance to hit revenue targets.
- You have the ability to paint a vision and get buy-in through collaboration, persuasion, and mentorship/coaching skills.
- Highly driven, proactive individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency, and a belief in Kipu’s mission. You go beyond relationship management.
- You have expert knowledge in various solution-selling methodologies and best practices with a proven track record of selling in the SaaS industry.
- Experience coaching, motivating, and training an inside sales team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment where you love being in a hands-on role.
- Ability to analyze data on Salesforce and structure how to optimize performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the Addiction Treatment or Behavioral Health Industry.
- Experience in EMR or Practice Management software sales.
