GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The KTOS Program Developer is responsible for the oversight of training program development for business and industry, project management of those selected to assist in this process, and standardization of the Kirkwood Training Services training product model.

- Select and manage subject matter experts for contracted training programs and new development programs.
- Supervise the on-going development of contract training programs that will provide value to business and industry in Kirkwood’s service region by: 1) identifying appropriate subject matter experts for development, and 2) managing project timelines, budgeting, and marketing.
- Provide assistance and support to the Program Directors by meeting with clients as needed to ascertain desired results for new programs requested for development.
- Develop and manage consortium programs.
- Collaborate with the credit divisions to offer continuing education and contracted training classes to students, faculty and staff.
- Work with the Continuing Education Program Director of Marketing, college Marketing Department, and KTOS Program Director of Operations to provide direction for program campaigns.
- Provide input with the Kirkwood Training Services and Continuing Education budget.
- Collaborate with Program Developers from the open enrollment side of the division to exchange ideas for future programming.
- Perform other related work duties as assigned.

Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Education required.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:
- National Career Readiness Certificate holders preferred
- Two years of experience in corporate training, education, instructional design, or marketing is strongly preferred.
