General Summary:

On a daily basis the Janitorial Worker team ensures that the assigned buildings and surrounding areas provide comfort and safety through effective cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance procedures. This individual as a part of our Janitorial Worker team will perform general cleaning duties which include sweeping, dusting, washing windows, washing floors, carpet maintenance, vacuuming, lavatory cleaning, snow removal and other related duties. Janitorial Worker candidates must have an unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

Qualified candidates must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays 7am-3:30pm.

Application Requirements & Essential Functions:

• General duties as a Janitorial Worker include sweeping and washing floors, vacuuming and carpet maintenance, dusting, washing windows, cleaning both public and employee lavatories, etc.
• Replacing light bulbs and HVAC air filters
• Washing walls, glass areas and windows
• Perform special cleaning projects as needed
• Operate power tools effectively and efficiently. Make minor repairs with simple hand tools to fixtures and furnishings
• Removing rubbish and cleaning containers
• Cleaning entrance, shoveling snow and performing general yard care
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures as a Janitorial Worker
• Reports facility related problems and concerns to appropriate personnel
• Able to climb ladders and work from, able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to work a combination of days, nights and weekends between the hours of 7am – 7pm as a Janitorial Worker

• Profit Sharing is available after a full calendar year of active employment to those twenty one years of age or older and have worked at least 1,000 hours
• Funeral Leave is available after thirty days of active employment
• Educational Reimbursement up to $1,000 per calendar year is available after ninety days of active employment
