What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Sales Development position at Klara?
The role of the Manager, Sales Development is to lead and develop our team of Klara Sales Development Representatives (SDR) through daily coaching and development. Our SDRs are at the forefront of driving sales for our Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), Practice Management, Analytics, Patient Collaboration, and Telehealth™ solutions through sales and marketing initiatives. In this role, you will inspire and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed expectations that get results.
The Role:
- Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable and predictable process for developing and growing the SDR process while improving efficiency and keeping the team energized and motivated
- Lead and train the Sales Development team to drive qualified opportunities and the Regional Sales Consultant team to align and support the sales organization
- Coach SDRs through call shadowing, role play and performance reporting and provide weekly feedback on performance indicators on weekly one-on-ones
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales Operations to ensure alignment on your team’s strategy and execution including targeted campaigns and prospecting tools
- Monitor and interpret data of inbound or outbound activities, such as call and email volume and key performance metrics linked to lead generation
- Work in collaboration with Content and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging for outbound communication to your assigned accounts
- All other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years managing a Sales Development or Sales Team, preferably from a SaaS based company
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
- Experience with building outbound phone/email campaigns
- Ability to communicate concepts to non-technical end users
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience managing both an Inbound and Outbound Sales Development Team
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- A demonstrated commitment to teamwork
- A highly positive outlook, ability to coach, mentor and motivate a team driven by meeting key performance metrics
- Resourcefulness and organizational skills
- Experience working with a CRM (SalesForce preferred) as well other sales enablement tools such as Outreach or SalesLoft.
- Experience with Chili Piper and Gong.io a plus
- Healthcare software sales experience a plus
- Strong interest in healthcare technology sales
- Polished and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
