The candidate selected shall telework as long as the candidate resides within the State of Florida. The candidate will also be required to attend on-site meetings in Tallahassee as necessary. The candidate will adhere to the published state holiday schedule. Additional after-hours and weekend work may be required. Requests for time off or schedule variance must be approved by the Program Manager per established process. Requests for time off in excess of 40 hours at a time may be denied.
The purpose of this Request is to provide staff augmentation to the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Division of Early Learning (DEL) for the EFS Modernization project.
The EFS Modernization (EFSM) system has been recording data beginning in FY 2018-2019 for School Readiness (SR), Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) and Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R). DEL processes transactions and facilitates applications in three web portals across the state of Florida to allow access to and to process SR and VPK applications and enrollments. A database analyst is needed to create new and to maintain/enhance existing business processes on the transactional database. This is needed to improve functionality, add functionality, and correct deficiencies with database transactions and table design using procedures and other database objects as necessary to enforce data integrity and efficient processing throughout the EFSM system.
The Florida Division of Early Learning was established in 1999 and, almost immediately, it was recognized that a replacement for the Enhanced Field System was needed. This business need has not yet been met.
The FLDOE DEL seeks the following staff augmentation position; one (1) Database Analyst.
The resource will be a valuable asset to the team and to the agency to ensure the success of the project goals. This resource will work closely with the Application Manager to facilitate the successful enhancement of the EFS Modernization project. This resource may at times serve as a liaison with other vendors who will be engaged to provide solutions for the EFS Modernization Project.
