AR/AP Clerk
KLINGER GPI is looking for an hourly, non-exempt, full-time (40 hours per week) AR/AP Clerk to add to our team. We will train you on our ERP system and give you all the tools that you will need to succeed. If you enjoy working with people, are computer savvy, and have excellent communication skills, this position is for you.
About KLINGER GPI
We are a 41-year-old company, with offices in the Texas Panhandle, West Texas, and the Gulf Coast of Texas, that distribute and manufacture gaskets, packings, seals, hydraulic tools to the oil and gas industry. If it leaks, we seal it.
A day in the life of an AR/AP Clerk
As an AR/AP Clerk, you will call on overdue accounts, post payments, keep up with sales tax certificates, process and complete credit applications for customers and vendors, vouch vendor invoices, process expenses, pay vendors and utilities, reconcile credit card statements, assist with month end, order supplies for all branches, assist with liability insurance and other tasks that are not done daily. You will report directly to the AR/AP Team Leader and Financial Operations Manager, and don't worry, you will be trained in all aspects of the position.
What you need to be qualified for this position
We are looking for someone that has accounting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Someone that takes initiative and that has a positive attitude that will align with our company culture. You need to be able to type, be computer savvy and be able to learn and navigate a variety of programs and portals and again don't worry, we will train you in our ERP system and any other programs that are pertinent to your position. Attention to detail is crucial. Listening and following instruction are a must. You must have excellent communication skills both orally and written as you will be communicating with customers, vendors, and other team members in person, on the phone and through email.
Pay Range
Depending on your level of experience, the starting pay ranges from $13-15 per hour.
Work Schedule
This position will require you to work from our office in Borger, TX, on weekdays during normal business hours (8am - 5pm). A flexible schedule is available with prior approval.
