What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Security Officer position at KMH?
KMH is looking for a dedicated and caring security officer. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 5PM - 11PM. There will be one employee hired for this position.
- Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Admitting and screening visitors
- Patrolling lobbies, corridors, and public rooms
- Conferring with management, interviewing guests and employees, and interrogating persons to detect infringement.
- Patrolling public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and missing or inoperative safety equipment.
- Thoroughly investigating and documenting incidents of theft, missing property, vandalism, complaints, accidents, and the like.
- Warning or ejecting troublemakers, and cautions careless persons.
- Obtaining assistance for residents and employees and completing appropriate reports.
- Notifying staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
- Contacting appropriate emergency services, authorities, or KMH staff in response to emergencies.
- Assisting members of management and law enforcement officers in emergency situations.
KMH is a retirement community serving Independent Living and Assisted Living residents.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
