Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Operation Associate. In this role, you will work closely with the client as a consultant to support and execute the vision of the client’s Commercial operation team by developing and maintaining existing reports, data integration and management processes, and executing on ad-hoc projects that support the broader Commercial organization.
Job Description
• Conduct data validation, integration and data management of various data sources including IQVIA/Symphony national and hcp level sales data, call and sample data, promotion related data, APLD, DDD, claims data, etc.
• Work closely with client to support all commercial reporting, sales operation and business intelligence oriented analytics with limited supervision
• Create documents such as business requirements, functional requirements, business rules, analytics plans, quality checklists, etc. for use by both internal and external teams
• Design project plans and manage client expectations and communication plans for project delivery
• Develop and present findings and recommendations to key internal and external teams
• Apply sound data management practice to ensure all data and reporting are managed in a compliant manner, and adhere to the highest level of quality
Requirements
• MA/MS degree required in statistics, biostatistics, or similar
• 2 years’ hands-on experience supporting commercial operations related area in the life science industry
• Professional programming skills with SAS. Tableau and Alteryx experience are plus.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skill
• Analytical problem solving skills, able to identify and link patterns among data sets, analyze and extrapolate market trends and patterns, and to distill large data sets into meaningful information
• Ability to proactively identify new opportunities and solutions
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Great at time and task management: Good candidates are able to estimate the amount of time needed to complete a task, communicate this to client clearly and deliver it on time
• Quick learning capability/Self-motivated: Good candidates have the ability to learn new technologies on their own
• Good team player
Technical requirements:
• MA/MS in statistics, biostatistics, or other quantitative analysis fields
• Demonstrated competence in the application of statistical techniques, such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, machine learning, etc.
