General Purpose: Produces a high-quality product delivered in a timely manner to satisfy customers. Loads and unload raw materials. Set up and calibrate accessories and equipment. Performs necessary maintenance and cleaning. Supervises machines as they process jobs and adjust as needed. Seeks continuous improvement of processes and skills. Completes all activities with a high regard for the safety of others and oneself. Essential Functions: Follows Spinneybeck|Filzfelt quality standards and guidelines for all products. Ensures that products meet technical requirements per manufacturing drawings and specifications. Maintains knowledge of and understand the purpose, function, and set up. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work overtime as needed for production needs. Must be safety oriented. Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives. Produce quality components on the following types of machines to include CNC Router and CNC Knife cutting Machines. Program or revise programs using computer numeric control to manipulate motion on a machine and some setup functions. Read and understand blueprints. Recognize flawed or out of spec products and properly report problems to supervisors. Understands and adheres to policy and objectives for and commitment to quality. Required Skills and Abilities: High School diploma required or General Education Degree (GED). Ability to use metric measuring devices such as a tape measure, scale and caliper. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization. Must have basic math skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to lift 50lbs Ability to understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form, etc. Ability to read and understand safety data sheets when using chemicals Rate: $25 per hour Who We Hire? A starting compensation range for this role is $21.35 - $26.55. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
